The Taj Mahal (Urdu: تاج محل) is a World Heritage mausoleum located in the city of Agra in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, and one of the 7 wonders of the world. It was built in the 17th century by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.
